Information on Graduation Assessment for students who will graduate in February 2024 is shown below.
For students who enrolled before the academic year of 2017, the submission of an official certified of English proficiency score and for students who enrolled after the academic year 2017, going abroad for university dispatch (exchange student/double degree) will be used as graduation assessment. (However, those who submit proof of inability to go abroad and obtain approval from the department head can have alternative activities recognized. For those individuals, please inquire separately to the administration office.)
Since June 2023, the COVID-19 alert level was lowered from a severe level to a cautionary level and transitioned into an endemic phase. Therefore, as originally planned, overseas university dispatch (exchange student/double degree) will resume as a mandatory requirement. Consequently, the additional criteria that were temporarily implemented due to COVID-19 will gradually be phased out. As of the second semester of 2023, students enrolled in their 3rd semester or less cannot receive recognition for graduation evaluation with the alternative methods. (For students enrolled in their 4th semester or more in the 2nd semester of 2023, alternative methods are still possible).
Please review the revised graduation assessment criteria below and prepare the required documents for submission.
1. Graduation Assessment Submission Period and Method
A. Graduation Assessment Submission Deadline: December 30th (Sunday)
※ The graduation assessment period will not be extended, so please make sure to submit within the deadline.
- Acceptance and approval processing after the deadline are not possible in accordance with the Kim
Young-ran act (commonly known as the Kim Young-ran Law).
- After approval of the graduation assessment, please note that the approved items cannot be
canceled or withdrawn.
B. Submission Method: In-person (SKKU GBA Office, International Hall 2nd Floor, Room 90206) or via e-mail (skkugba@skku.edu).
2. Graduation requirement
A. Attain 120 credits in all areas without exception.
B. Achieve certification in all three items (*For guidance on submitting the three items, refer to the department's homepage notice).
C. Graduation Assessment
Meeting these three requirements automatically qualifies you as a graduation candidate.
If you fail to satisfy any one of the three requirements, graduation is not possible, and you will be in a state of over-enrolment registration (in cases of insufficient credits) or incompletion status (in cases of insufficient certification in any of the three items or failure to submit the graduation assessment).
※ Please check your graduation assessment fulfillment status in GLS.
Method: GLS - Academic Status/Personal Area - Self-Checkup for Graduation - Status of Fulfilling
